Habanero Beef Stir Fry Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound flank steak, sliced into thin strips
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp habanero pepper powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp water

 

Instructions:

In a bowl, mix together habanero pepper powder, salt, sugar, and cornstarch.

Add the sliced beef to the bowl and toss until evenly coated with the mixture.

In a large pan or wok, heat the oil over high heat.

Add the beef to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes, until browned on both sides.

Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.

In the same pan, add the red bell pepper, yellow onion, and garlic. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until the vegetables are softened.

Add the beef back to the pan and stir in the soy sauce, rice vinegar, and water.

Cook for an additional minute, until the sauce has thickened.
